If you're looking for a picturesque spot of lunch and a little extra wine (naturally), there's no better place to stop than Borrodell Estate. With an altitude of over 1,030 metres above sea-level, Borrodell is one of Australia’s highest vineyards and has the ’gram-worthy views to go with it.
As well as their sprawling vineyard, there's also a bountiful orchard — growing apples, cherries, plums, quinces, persimmons and more — as well as an annual truffle harvest each winter for Black Perigord Truffles.
At their on-site restaurant, Sister's Rock, you can book a long lunch and choose from a three- or four-course set menu, showcasing the incredible produce of Orange.
On our visit, we chose the three-course menu, complimented with plenty of Borrodell wine and I can highly recommend you stop by! The food was exceptional and the wine was world-class.
